  Q. What is a Metropolitan District?  

Metropolitan and Special Districts are units of local government authorized by Article-1 of Title-32 of the Colorado State Statutes.  A special district provides public improvements and services to its property owners and residents.  A metropolitan district is a special district that provides two or more types of improvements and services.

  Q. What communities are served by Mountains Edge Metropolitan District?  
  A. The Foothills Subdivision resides within the Mountains Edge Metropolitan District.  A map of this area can be found on the District Map page.  The District map boundaries map will follow.  
  Q. How do I obtain more information about current or proposed projects?  
  A. All current, future and past projects are listed on the Projects page of this site.  
  Q. How often are Board Meetings held?  
  A. Meeting scheduled in March, July and October. The time in which the meeting begin are determined by the Board.  
  Q. Where can I get a copy of the Board meeting agenda or minutes?  
  A. Currently the meeting minutes are posted on the Meetings tab.  An agenda can be obtain through the District Administrator found on the Contacts Tab.
